About Santa Maria Burgers

Tucked away in the heart of Santa Maria, Santa Maria Burgers is the kind of place where even the smallest bite can transport your taste buds to a world of savory bliss. Located at 1785 S Broadway, Santa Maria, CA 93454, this unassuming spot has found itself nestled between the rolling hills of California’s beloved Central Coast, making it a delightful detour for both locals and travelers alike.

First things first, it's all about the burger. In the world of fast food, Santa Maria Burgers stands out as a beacon of what a great hamburger should be. Each burger promises an explosion of flavors, from the succulent beef patty, grilled to perfection, to the fresh, crisp toppings that sing in perfect harmony. The menu itself isn't extensive, yet it does offer enough variety to satisfy a plethora of cravings. Expect to find the classic cheeseburger, a hearty double patty for those feeling extra hungry, and a selection of sandwiches for those seeking a bit of a twist.

Of course, it would be remiss not to mention the fries. Golden, crispy, and paired perfectly with any of the offered sauces, these are not your average sidekick. Patrons, who have frequented the spot for years, often mention how the fries alone could warrant a visit. And for those who want a little sweetness to cap off the meal, the milkshakes, thick and creamy, do not disappoint. They are the kind of indulgence that makes one forget any notion of counting calories, and that in itself is a wonderful thing.

Though Santa Maria Burgers flies under the radar by foodie pilgrimage standards, some rave online reviews firmly plant it on many must-visit lists. Guests often highlight the welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. The local charm seeps through every corner, creating an environment that is both relaxing and refreshingly unpretentious.

Whether driving by or planning a specific visit, an encounter with Santa Maria Burgers is bound to leave one not just full, but thoroughly content. So the next time there's a hankering for a truly satisfying burger experience, remember this little gem in Santa Maria. Who knew happiness could come wrapped in wax paper?

First timer here. We went in for some lunch I had the pastrami sandwich and my cute little wife had the tuna sandwich. We also ordered the zucchini and man was it good. We received an enormous plate I was a zucchini with some ranch dip and we both really enjoyed that. There was so much that we had to take some home. The pastrami sandwich was one of the best ones I've ever had and I will definitely be going back for that. My wife really liked the tuna it came on toasted bread. They have a fairly extensive menu and they even serve breakfast.

I took my wife and daughter out for breakfast. We had very friendly service in addition to the generous portions of delicious food. My country fried steak, eggs with biscuits and gravy was amazing. The restaurant was bustling with energy and was very busy. The prices were affordable and every was happy.

Accidentally went through the drive through right before closing but I had the best service by Lucero she was super sweet and friendly also was not shy about being bilingual (Spanish) which we loved. Felt very welcoming :) Food was also very good, we will definitely be returning soon!

I passed by this place all the time and have never seen it. I was definitely missing out. I typically go to a few other places when I'm craving a burger and fries and will likely be heading here instead from now on. The burgers and sandwiches are good quality not great but good and the fries are a fairly large portions. Of things I've tried here on separate occasions I really like the bacon cheeseburger, the chicken fried steak sandwich was okay, the fries are good, and the curly fries were also good. I will state that I think the curly fries are even better if you just wait to reheat them at home because they keep the spices and crisp up just a little bit more. All in all it's a good place and the staff is really nice.
